Italy Austria South America
The centre operates in different first-class places, where skiing is tradition and where ideal conditions favour training sessions, wonderful runs down the slopes and amazing freeriding. You can find resorts with facilities of every level that guarantee ideal stays for every need. After numerous surveys of different ski stations the technicians of Ski Training chose “La Valle di Fassa” as their official winter location.
From May to October the centre moves to the capitals of summer skiing: Hintertux (Austria) and South America. You can ski in the Andes, a long tongue of land between Chile and Argentina, leading from the North to the South for about 2000 kilometres until the end of the world! You can find beautiful winter snow with top ski stations (slopes from 30 to 110 kilometres), ultra-modern ski-lifts, slopes with breath-taking height differences between 800 and 1200 metres, incredible freeriding with powder snow and all this between 3760 and 2000 metres above sea level.
In South America there are ski stations of every level, which are, with their stunning, extraordinary and unique sceneries, in no way inferior to our European ski stations. The geographic position south of the equator favours an ideal climate: you can have beautiful sunshine for long periods of the year, but at the same time there are atmospheric disturbances between the two oceans that create heavy snowfalls of other times (6 metres on average per season).
Already in the sixties the development of winter sports played a very important role in South America, if we remember the World Cup in Portillo, a famous Chilean ski location, in 1966.
HINTERTUX
Hintertux is an important skiing resort in Tirol, Austria, which lies at the top of the valley Zillertal 1500 meters above sea level. Hintertux is one of the most important and best-equipped glaciers in Europe, with its glacier “Tuxer” of 3500 metres, its 800 metres of height difference, its 11 ultra-modern ski lifts and its 45 kilometres of slopes that are always well-prepared and covered by snow.
The mountain village Maierhofen is nearby and offers us the flavours of the past, as it is still very attached to traditions and forgotten flavours. It surely deserves a visit.
The valley “Tuxertal” offers great emotions also to non-skiers, as its nature is simply overwhelming. You have the possibility to go for beautiful walks or even do trekking at high altitude, staying in ski huts.
In this context Ski Training has chosen an enchanting family-run hotel as its Austrian main location, a hotel that is equipped with extraordinary facilities and comfort and is only few metres from the skiing stations.
How to arrive: (from Italy) Take the Brennero motorway A22 until you cross the Austrian border, go ahead in the direction of Innsbruck/ Munich- Salzburg, and take the exit nr. 40 “Zillertal”. Take the main road 169 and follow the indications for Zell am Ziller. You will get to Maierhofen, where you will find the sign Tuxertal Hintertux.

SKI STADIUM ALOCH
The ski stadium Val di Fassa, commonly called slope “Aloch”, was built in 1998. Since then many improvements have taken place, acting on the precious advice of technicians from different local ski clubs. Aloch acts as a stage for high-level sports events and for the test runs of a lot of World Cup teams from different nations. During the day a great part of the slopes is reserved to the training of athletes from local ski clubs and/or by reservation.
The Ski Stadium Aloch is equipped with a comfortable and fast three-man chair-lift, which takes you to the top of the slope in few minutes.
The slope is equipped with an exceptional lighting system that allows you to ski during the night, four evenings a week (20.30-23.30), using the ski pass Val di Fassa or Dolomitisuperski.
It is here where the trainers and instructors of the Ski Training Racing Camp carry out their activities. The slopes are reserved and fenced-in along the whole course, which guarantees maximum security for trainings.
